Belief is the thing
People have beleifs.
Just like thoughts. Crack. Addiction. People need them to survive.
All the things you think you need to survive.. the beliefs, the thoughts, the habits, the environments, the people.. what happens when they go away?
Whom do you become?
Life is like a videogame
Run Away
from black holes
and stars going supernova
and vampires.
people pass like days into the night.
I just waltzed in the snow.
and filmed it.
You should too.
I want to waltz in the snow.

I’ve spent the last two days hanging out with a truly gifted and amazing painter, and everything is just plain awesome.

– I misheard a character in tonight’s californication as saying this line, to a writer. Often getting ‘you must use a really good camera,” I think I’m going to keep it.
What does it mean to be a writer?
Being a writer is an odd combination of being afraid and having balls.
Your eyes do you good, and you use your fingers instead of your mouth.
Everything that happens is a multi-part equation. Someone recently asked me how I’m doing, and I said “-5 +15”.
You lose something and you gain something, and hopefully you gain more than you’ve lost, and either way you move on.
