Ronen Verbit: The Rarities

THE most amazing thing happened this morning.

I woke up, looked at my phone, and had two missed calls from Ronen.

This, in itself, not so amazing. But THEN, these words appeared on my screen:

“New Voicemail”

I stared. I thought, perhaps someone else called and their name just didn’t show up as a missed call. Perhaps someone stole Ronen’s phone and thought it would be fun to prank call his contacts. Perhaps Ronen acquired an overseas assistant (a la Tim Ferris’s recommendations) and he/she wasn’t yet aware of Ronen Protocol.

Unable to contain my curiosity, I called my voice mailbox, only to discover that IT WAS ACTUALLY A MESSAGE FROM RONEN HIMSELF.

(Pause for gasp.)

Yes, I am proud to say that I am now in possession of a true Ronen Verbit rarity. It’s currently stored as one of my eight saved messages in some massive Verizon computer somewhere. Needless to say, it will soon be recorded onto a safer/more permanent storage device and shared exclusively with biographers and wealthy fans.

Oh, ‘tis true. I am now unique. Prior to this morning I was able to say — I went on adventures with Ronen Verbit, received e-mails from him, telephone calls, text messages. But this made me only one of the masses. But a voicemail from the said Verbit? The only medium of communication which he is known never to utilize? Roll in the riches, baby.
